3 Bagger to be Remembered

Timothy Charles Wallach -
The Cal State Fullerton Grad went first round to the Expos in the 1979 Draft(10th overall). After leading the Titans to their first NCAA championship Wallach found quick success in the MLB. Making in to the big leagues in 1980(only a year from being drafted) his career in Montreal flourished. Over a 17 year career Wallach was a 5 time allstar and 3 time Gold Glover at the hot corner. In 1987 Wallach came in 4th in the NL MVP voting, Wallach 87 season was his best. He hit .298 with 123 RBI and 26 HR's and 1 scoreless inning pitched! Wallach was the L.A. Dodgers hitting coach until 2005 and was replaced by Eddie Murray. The 1979 Golden Spikes award winner is currently unemployed in the baseball world.
